Our History

Prior to 1996, veterinary care in Vietnam was solely provided by government-owned clinics. In 1996, the first-ever privately-owned clinic, with registration number 001, was at 146 Xóm Đất, District 11, Ho Chi Minh City. This is the precursor of PetCare Veterinary Hospital nowadays.

In June 2005, An Viet Veterinary Service Private Limited Company – PetCare Hospital was founded by Dr. Huynh Thi Thanh Ngoc. The hospital has 5 branches in Ho Chi Minh and Vung Tau City.

To guarantee the best standard of care, PetCare has a selective recruitment process and thereafter support for continuous learning. All of our vets have graduated at the top from their class. Depending on their field of interest, our staffs are stimulated to attend advanced training by the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) to ensure they stay up-to-date with the latest development in veterinary care.  Beyond qualifications, everyone at PetCare operates with high ethical standards, passion to improve, and dedication to care.
